For those of you that have lost a loved one.
It’s been 20 years since you died. There truly isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think of you. Time passes, yet the memories of you remain the same. I’ve aged, but you haven’t. You son is now the age that you were when you were taken from us. It’s still so surreal. Grief is a strange thing and manifests even in moments of peace. I smile when I think of you now, but there’s always a sadness within. This painting is for you, my husband, my first and truest love.
